Production Mine Engineer (Underground)

Our client, a world class mining company, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Production Mine Engineer (underground) to join their mining operations in the Middle East.
Role and Responsibilties:
· Reporting and providing top level support to the chief mining engineer
· To provide a competent mining engineering service related to the effectiveness of mining productivity
· Directing, coordinating and managing all mining production activities
· Coordinating the companies technical partners on the project
· Analysing records and reports to ensure all programs are on target
· Overseeing and maximizing efficiency and resources
· Working with other departments
· Interfacing with the project development team
Requirements:
· Minimum 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
· BSc in Mining Engineering
· Experience in Underground Planning and Production
· Planning Software-Datamine, Surpac and Minesite will be advantageous.
· Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety as well as experience in a broad range of safety related activities
· Fluent in English
· Ability to speak Arabic will be an advantage
Experience required:
· Relevant experience in geotechnical and mine planning practices
· Familiarity with latest business tools and mine planning software
· Project management and project development principles will be considered as favourable.
