PROCESSING & METALLURGICAL MANAGER

Purpose:
 
Reporting to the General Manager, the primary purpose of the above role would be to effectively and efficiently manage production, costs, personnel, safety, environmental and industrial responsibilities.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
·         Provide technical and operational advise to the team
·         Develop, implement and monitor effective capitaland operating budget
·         Coordinate resources and personnel performance
·         Effectively liaise, manage clients and suppliers
·         Manage OHS and environmental strategies for the plant operation
·         Manage plant expansion while maximizing resource from applicable projects.
 
Minimum Requirements:
 
·         BSc Degree in Minerals Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Extractive Metallurgy, Process Engineering or equivalent.
·         Minimum 12yrs post qualification metallurgical experience in a process environment
·         Senior related Management experience within an operational mine
·         Astute leadership skills supported by excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
