Laboratory Assistant/Technician – Medical / Health (Technician) – Sierra Leone

CA Global: Medical (Africa Positions) has an international client who is looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant/Technician to work in their Diagnostic Centre in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience within a laboratory environment.
• A National Diploma or BSc degree in Biotechnology or an equivalent qualification.
• Must be able to read and write English well.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implementation, management, and execution of maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Analysis of in-process/packaged samples.
• Recording and reporting of results.
• Preparing all media required.
• Troubleshooting and root cause identification.
• Maintenance, verification and use of Laboratory equipment.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
